Your Online Proctor will identify you via sophisticated technology ensure that your testing environment is comfortable, while also adhering to guidelines about what is permitted and what isn’t. What’s more, your Online Proctor will be observing you in a non-intrusive way throughout the entire exam and is always available for you should you need any help or in case something goes wrong. Schedule Your QA Examinations Online

Click on your course/wave number from the list below, then select your preferred date and time to confirm your appointment. You should receive a confirmation email automatically with the examination details and requirements.

Please note that for QA proctored examinations, you must schedule and confirm your final examination dates and times at least five working days before the course end date; otherwise, you will be marked as absent.

6 SIMPLE STEPS TO SUCCESS

The recent coronavirus outbreak has urged authorities across many countries to adopt measures for the containment of its spread. QA offers various solutions to ensure business continuity and safeguard the wellbeing of its partners and candidates.

To this end, we are increasing the capacity of QA Online Proctored Examinations to accommodate candidates who wish to take their professional certification exams remotely.

You can take you exam from almost any place you want. A computer, webcam and internet connection are all you need to take the next step in your career and become certified.

01. Schedule your Exam

During your course, you will be informed that your exam is active and available to be scheduled through our website. Choose and book your suitable date and time.

Once you booked your exam, you should receive a confirmation email with the booked examination date and time; include a Google Meet link, to be accessed at your booked date, to join your invigilator; who will guide you through your examination journey.

02. Prepare your Computer

Test your system:

  • Join a test meeting through Google Meet; and check your system, audio and video settings.

Prepare the accessories you will need:

  • You are required to have an updated computer device
  • You are required to have a working pair of speakers and a microphone (headphone are not accepted)
  • Keyboard and mouse (or another pointing device)
  • An external web camera which you can rotate 360 degrees, with a minimum cable length of 3 meters to allow for flexible positioning. Test your webcam in advance to ensure it works correctly with the exam application. (Mobile phones can be accepted instead of the webcams, to be joined through two devices to the meeting, your computer and mobile phone with camera)
  • Download and install the examination software required for the exam application ahead of time. (Windows Version / IOS and macOS Version)
03. Prepare your Environment

Follow the ‘clean desk policy’

Depending on the exam, you may or may not have access to certain items:

  • Notes, manuals, whiteboards etc
  • Other electronic devices. These include additional headphones, smart watches, screens, monitors, keyboards, cameras, projectors, or projected images/words

Your exam room must meet the following requirements in order for your proctor to guarantee that you are taking the exam in a secure environment:

    • It must be private (open spaces are not permitted)
    • You must be alone in the room
    • It must have a door that can be closed and is viewable through your webcam
    • There must be enough light for the proctor to see you clearly at all times during the exam. Light should not be directed towards the webcam

04. Prepare your Documents

Be ready to display your physical government-issued Photo Identification Document (ID) matching registered data

  • You will be required to verify your identity by showing your ID to the proctor via the webcam
  • When registering for your course / exam, make sure that the ID document you used and the details you provided, match exactly the ID document you will use on the exam day
  • Your ID must:
    - Be valid and not expired
    - Include an identifiable photo of you
    - Contain your first/middle names and last name in English (Latin) characters
    - Contain your date of birth, including year
    - Be a physical document (electronic forms of ID will not be accepted)
05. Emergency Contact
  • Be sure to inform the proctor of a phone number for a nearby contact person available at your premises, in case the connection is interrupted.
  • Ensure you know how to access technical support in case you encounter any issues during the exam (ask your invigilator for clarifications).
06. Exam Experience
