The Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) is the professional body for quality management professionals. The International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) is CQI’s auditor-registration division. CQI & IRCA certified training supports the development of recognised auditing competence.

Yes. Quality Academy® is a CQI & IRCA Approved Training Partner, No. 6051029. Courses explicitly identified as CQI & IRCA certified are delivered within our approved training scope.

Choose the course aligned with your role and objectives: ISO 9001 for quality management, ISO 14001 for environmental management, ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety, ISO/IEC 17025 for laboratories, ISO 50001 for energy management, and FSSC 22000 for food-safety management. The combined ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 course covers both environmental and occupational health and safety auditing.

Scheduled courses are primarily delivered through our live Virtual Classroom. Classroom training may be available on request, while private corporate programmes can be delivered virtually, at your organisation’s premises or through an agreed blended approach. The assessment route depends on the selected course. Applicable Lead Auditor courses use the CQI online-proctored examination, while ISO 50001 and ISO/IEC 17025 examinations are administered by Quality Academy®. Yes. CQI online examinations are open book, so permitted course notes and the relevant management-system standard may be consulted. Using the internet to search for answers or receiving assistance from another person is prohibited.

No. Successful completion provides a CQI & IRCA certified training course certificate and supports the training requirement for applicable IRCA auditor grades. IRCA auditor registration is a separate process requiring the relevant education, work experience, audit experience and application.

For CQI online-proctored examinations, one resit is permitted within 365 days of the original course. Resit arrangements for Quality Academy-administered examinations follow the requirements stated for the applicable course. Contact us for guidance before arranging a resit.

Yes. Learners requiring a reasonable adjustment should notify Quality Academy® as early as possible so that the appropriate request can be reviewed and submitted. For applicable CQI examinations taken in English, eligible learners whose first language is not English may request an additional 30 minutes.
