The PECB ISO/IEC 27701 Lead Implementer eLearning training course is designed to develop the theoretical and practical knowledge required to implement and manage a Privacy Information Management System (PIMS) based on ISO/IEC 27701:2025.

The PECB ISO/IEC 27701 Lead Implementer examination meets the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP) and covers the following competency domains:

After successfully passing the examination, candidates may apply for one of the applicable PECB ISO/IEC 27701 credentials. The credential awarded depends on the candidate's professional experience and PIMS project experience, together with fulfilment of the applicable PECB certification requirements.

PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27701 Senior Lead Implementer
Professional experience: 10 years, including 7 years in privacy management
PIMS project experience: At least 1,000 hours
Candidates must also pass the applicable examination and sign the PECB Code of Ethics.
