This comprehensive 5-day training equips professionals with the knowledge and skills to conduct first-, second-, and third-party audits of Quality Management Systems (QMS) against ISO 9001:2015 requirements, in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021-1. By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Understand the purpose and structure of ISO 9001:2015 and its relationship with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021.
- Interpret the key requirements of ISO 9001:2015 in the context of a third-party audit.
- Plan, conduct, report, and follow up on a Quality Management System audit in accordance with ISO 19011.
- Demonstrate effective auditing techniques and gather objective evidence through interviews, observation, and documentation review.
- Evaluate audit findings and write clear, concise, and objective nonconformity reports.
- Communicate effectively during audits and manage audit team roles and responsibilities.
- Prepare for and lead a full audit process, including opening and closing meetings.
- Understand the certification process and auditor responsibilities in line with IRCA expectations.

This course covers essential topics required to conduct a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) audit, including:
- Introduction to ISO 9001:2015 Overview of the standard, its purpose, principles of quality management, and PDCA cycle.
- ISO 9001:2015 Requirements Clause-by-clause interpretation and intent behind each requirement.
- Auditing Principles and Process Based on ISO 19011:2018 – including risk-based auditing, audit types, and the audit lifecycle.
- Planning an Audit Developing audit objectives, scopes, criteria, and audit plans.
- Conducting an Audit Techniques for conducting interviews, collecting evidence, and observing processes.
- Audit Reporting and Follow-up Writing nonconformity reports, conducting closing meetings, and verifying corrective actions.
- Managing Audit Teams Roles and responsibilities of lead auditors and team members.
- Certification and IRCA Requirements Understanding the certification process and IRCA competence requirements.
Upon successful completion of the course and passing the final examination, participants will receive a CQI & IRCA Certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certificate of Achievement.

Passing Criteria: Demonstrated competence in all assessed areas and a passing score in the final exam.
Only participants who attend the full course and pass the assessment will receive the CQI & IRCA Certificate of Achievement.
