Equality and Diversity Policy
Last Reviewed: 13 September 2025
1. Policy Statement
Quality Academy is committed to providing inclusive services that embrace diversity and promote equality of opportunity. As both a training provider and an employer, we are dedicated to ensuring that all individuals — staff, learners, and stakeholders — are treated fairly and respectfully.
We aim to embed these values into every aspect of our operations and ensure that no person is discriminated against on the basis of:
- Age
- Disability
- Gender reassignment
- Marriage or civil partnership
- Pregnancy or maternity
- Race
- Religion or belief
- Sex
- Sexual orientation
- Or any other status protected by applicable law
2. Purpose
This policy aims to:
- Eliminate discrimination and promote equality throughout all QA training services
- Ensure fair access to all learning opportunities and resources
- Create an inclusive learning and working environment
- Encourage learners and staff to value and respect each other’s differences
3. Responsibilities
Every person working at or representing Quality Academy — whether full-time, part-time, freelance, or subcontracted — has a personal responsibility to promote and uphold the principles of equality and inclusion in their interactions with:
- Learners
- Colleagues
- Visitors
- Clients
- The wider community
Discriminatory, offensive, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action.
4. Accessibility for Learners
Quality Academy is committed to making its courses accessible to all learners. If any learner requires reasonable adjustments due to a disability, health condition, or learning need, they are strongly encouraged to contact our team in advance of the course start date so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
We will work with the learner to ensure their experience is fair, supportive, and free from barriers to participation.
5. Monitoring and Improvement
This policy is reviewed at least annually or following significant changes in law or training practice. It is part of Quality Academy’s wider commitment to continuous improvement and learner protection.
