Participants shall be certified as CMQ/OE  upon the following criteria:

    • Class attendance and active participation
    • Passing the Green Belt exam 70% or more.
  • Participants who attend all classes and pass the exam with more than 70% shall be granted a certificate of achievement for the course by Quality Academy™.
  • Participants who attend all classes shall be granted only an Attendance certificate for the course.
 
QA Certification is recognized perpetually. A classification system recognizes certifications as “Current” for a period of three years and defines regulations for maintaining such Status.
 
A QA Certified CMQ/OE is issued a Certificate (Electronic or Hard Copy) along with a Certification Number, added to the Official QA Certification Register and granted the right to use the QA Certification Marks and Titles; as professional designation which may be used in resumes and public profiles such as LinkedIn, consistent with the QA Marks Use Policy.

ASQ CMQ/OE Examination

The CMQ/OE examination consists of a single part with 180 multiple-choice questions. Among these questions, 165 are scored while 15 are unscored. The total appointment time for the exam is four and a half hours, with an allocated exam time of 4 hours and 18 minutes.

The CMQ/OE certification is valid for three years. To maintain your certification, you must either re-sit the examination or meet the recertification requirements, which include obtaining a specific number of recertification units (RUs) through ongoing professional development activities.
