By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

• Understand Management Systems: Gain a comprehensive understanding of ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2026, and how these standards integrate within a management system framework.
• Conduct Integrated Audits: Plan, conduct, and report on combined audits of OHSMS and EMS in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021-1.
• Lead Audit Teams Across Multiple Disciplines: Effectively manage and lead audit teams that assess compliance with both ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Evaluate Compliance and Performance: Assess an organization’s ability to manage risks related to health, safety, and environmental impacts, ensuring compliance with both standards.
• Promote a Culture of Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement within an integrated management system and provide valuable feedback to enhance organizational performance.

• Prerequisites: It is recommended that participants have prior knowledge of OHSMS and EMS or have experience in auditing these systems. However, this is not mandatory.
• Assessment: The course includes continuous assessments through interactive activities, case studies, role-playing, and a final examination.

This course covers essential topics for mastering the auditing of OHSMS and EMS:

1. Introduction to ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2026:
   • Overview of the requirements and structure of both standards.
   • Understanding the common and distinct elements within the Integrated Management System (IMS) framework.
2. Audit Principles and Methodologies:
   • Core principles of auditing in accordance with ISO 19011.
   • Planning, conducting, and reporting on integrated audits.
3. Occupational Health and Safety Management:
   • Key components of an effective OHSMS.
   • Identifying and managing occupational health and safety risks.
4. Environmental Management Systems:
   • Key components of an effective EMS.
   • Identifying and managing environmental aspects and impacts.
5. Integrated Auditing Techniques:
   • Techniques for conducting combined audits efficiently.
   • Coordinating audits to minimize disruption and maximize effectiveness.
6. Non-conformities and Corrective Actions:
   • Identifying and addressing non-conformities in OHSMS and EMS.
   • Implementing and verifying corrective actions across multiple systems.
7. Audit Reporting and Follow-up:
   • Writing integrated audit reports that address both standards.
   • Conducting follow-up audits to ensure sustained compliance.
