Effective fire safety training is essential for many employees. This is because fire can destroy lives, close businesses and put a tremendous strain on the health and welfare of those affected by it. Every employee has a role to play in fire safety and the fire safety qualifications offered by Highfield help to support employees.
Employees successfully completing fire safety training courses resulting in a Highfield qualification will assist organisations in meeting their legal obligations, and provide a much safer working environment for all of their employees.
During this 1 day course, Learners will develop their knowledge and skills in fire safety, including: how fires are caused, the risks associated with fire, principles of fire safety management at work, understanding the role of a fire warden and more
This is a 1-day (08hr) learning event.
Start/Finish Times: 09:00am – 17:00pm.
Prior Learning Requirement: No prior knowledge requirements.
Understand the hazards and risks associated with fire in the workplace
Understand how fire risk is controlled in the workplace
Understand the principles and practice of fire safety management at work
Understand the role of the nominated fire warden
This qualification is assessed by a multiple-choice examination.
This course is fully recognised by HABC
This qualification has been designed for anyone who has a specific responsibility for fire safety in the workplace, such as designated fire wardens/fire marshals.
There are no prerequisites for this qualification.
